Hats Off to a Successful Partnership

Avebury have been short listed from more than 70 entries for a National Built in Quality Award

The prospective award for Best Partnership with a designer, architect or construction consultant is in recognition of the successful & ground-breaking partnership that Avebury forged with MK Building Control.

Avebury recognised that it could improve services to it’s housing association clients by strengthening relationships with the supply chain and entered in to England's first Partnering Agreement with a Building Control office.  Since the start of this partnering relationship Avebury’s clients have benefited from greater effiencies and cost-savings.

MK Building Control has processed more than  £100 million worth of construction work for Avebury per year, delivering hundreds of new houses.  The sites are located in areas such as Liverpool, London, Birmingham, Milton Keynes, Essex and Kent.
Chief Building Control Surveyor Steve Evans said: “This and is testament to the outstanding work that all of Avebury & MKBC team put into their work. The quality of the entries into this category was exceptional and to be short listed is a great honour.”

The award ceremony is in October at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
